Judges’ Reports for 2021 

Tucked away behind a gallery in the foodies paradise of Little Malop Street CBD Geelong is the Greek Restaurant Mavs. This popular inviting and lively eatery transports guests to a traditional taverna in Santorini (blue and white decor, Greek background music and foods to match). Customer service was warm, welcoming and helpful and the delicious meals range from fresh seafood, meats to vegetarian options. There’s a wide range of local and Greek wines wines on offer – mostly by the glass – and the coffee was good. The atmosphere, customer service and value for money at Mavs was extremely good.  This family friendly restaurant is well set out with plenty of space and the open kitchen provides interest and entertainment!
