The bistro is set in a beautiful and relaxed environment overlooking the vineyard. We specialize in shared plates and focus on local produce, local beers and local wines to showcase the best of the region. The Saint Regis vines were planted in 1997 in rich limestone soil and 2001 marked our first vintage. Saint Regis is family owned and operated, specializing in Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Saint Regis' Shiraz fruit is estate grown, while Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are selected from hand picked premium local fruit.

There’s a lot to like about this little cellar door wine bar and restaurant in Waurn Ponds on the outskirts of Geelong. It’s set up handsomely, is welcoming, offers comfortable dining space inside and out, and has great views. And then there’s the great food. It was contemporary, and great for sharing. There was a compact menu but the dishes where very good. We particularly liked the seasonality of the menu designed for winter. Chef Katherine Turner is highly skilled and was a Finalist in the 2016 Golden Plate Best Chef Award. The customer service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere relaxed. The drinks list delivered more than might be expected including a range of local wines by the glass and good craft beers and non-alcoholic beverages. This eatery offers excellent value for money on many counts. Recommended.
