Situated in the far end of the Bendigo Library, Red Well Café is aptly named. With a pleasant view onto an open green space there is the opportunity to combine a visit to the library with a caffeine hit or tasty lunch. An appetising range of sandwiches, rolls, toasted flatbreads and vegetarian frittata were displayed as well as a wide selection of cakes, muffins and slices (including gluten free options), cookies, scones, fruit bread and jam doughnuts. The hot foods selection included house made pies and pasties created by it‘s big sister cafe SIM’R across the street. There was a good range of cold drinks available plus good coffee, staff were friendly and the value for money was good.
