The Railway Hotel in Castlemaine is an old world pub that offers a sophisticated and innovative seasonally inspired menu drawing on Spanish, Brazilian and Portuguese influences with exotic flavours and taste combinations under the expert hands of Chef Bruno Roco, and continues to satisfy cravings for good traditional Aussie pub favourites, with a nice selection of steaks, generous sized free range hand crumbed parmas, as well as a long list of daily specials. High quality locally sourced produce features heavily, with some excellent vegetarian and gluten free options available.

The Hotel offers a good regional wine list with many available by the glass, and an extensive range of craft beers on tap.
