New licensed café in historic town of Clunes
This new eatery in Fraser Street Clunes in Central Victoria is an exciting new eatery serving quality foods and local beverages throughout the day – Thursdays to Mondays including evenings (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Quigley and Clarke is a gorgeous looking eatery. The owners have invested heavily in the fit-out that pays homage to the history of the town. There’s a variety of seating options including benches along one wall, bar stools at a higher table, and a communal table for larger groups. The fire is a lovely touch on cold evenings. The small menu included some very nice dishes. Soups, Middle Eastern Lamb, a pork main, soufflés, apple salad, rice cakes, rice pudding, slices and cakes (all house-made). There were many local wines available by the glass, the price points were fantastic, and the meals represented very good value for money. The boldness and creativity of Quigley and Clarke is commendable and deserves to be very successful. It has already earned a loyal following.
Gorgeous atmosphere, open fire, inventive menu, good drinks list featuring local drops, friendly customer service, good value for money
