The Queens Arms Hotel in Spring Gully is a traditional style of pub that is comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The menu is large with plenty of choices and there is lower price menu for those who are happy with simple choices. The salmon croquettes entrée looked gorgeous, were presented nicely and were balanced in taste; a delightful dish. The lemon pepper calamari was tasty and we enjoyed it immensely – the calamari tender and flavoursome. The wine list is easy to read with most wines available by the glass. Customer service was friendly and helpful – we were greeted warmly and shown to our table, and when I went to the bar to order I was advised of the cheaper option (which was helpful). When the entrees arrived we were asked if we were sharing and two side plates were provided to make it easier. The special lunchtime menu including a glass of wine was a modest $19 which is less than the bistro menu. The drink prices and the specials represent good value for money.
