Merne take away service:

Friday and Saturday evenings only. Menu comprises snacks, share dish, choice of two main courses, side dish and dessert (see first photo).

SHARED GRAZING: Olives from our Grove, Fennel and Lemon. Wagyu Bresaola, Beetroot, Creme Fraiche.  Smoked Ricotta Tomato, Rhubarb and Basil. 

SHARED MAINS: (choice of two dishes per order) Parsnip, Fermented Macedamia, Black Rice and Shallot, OR Chicken, Sweetcorn, Fennel, Tarragon 72 Hour Beef Brisket, Green Olive, Kipfler Potato, Saurkraut, Brussels Sprout, Lamb Shoulder OR Lamb Shoulder, Cauliflower, Smoked Eggplant and Middle Eastern Spice.

SIDE DISH: Quinona, Esparagus, Broccoli, Hazelnut with Balsamic.

DESSERT: Chocolate Cheesecake, Quince and Passion Fruit Curd.

Pick-up or free local delivery between 5.30 to 7.30 PM.

Merne at Lighthouse in the Bellarine Peninsula sets the highest standards in excellence in dining in regional Victoria. As usual the restaurant in 2019 was immaculately presented and showed great attention to detail. The menu is seasonally driven therefore constantly changing with a share menu showcasing the creativity of a chef and local produce. The excellent drinks list features a wonderful selection from the local regions and national and international drops, All expertly paired with the local and regional foods. From the moment of arrival you’ll be impressed by the front of house – back of house team. In a word the service is flawless. Merne is a must-visit dining experience to be repeated regularly – day or night time. There are so many delights to try.
