We are a small family run café in historic Lydiard Street, just inside the The Art Gallery of Ballarat. Our warm and comfortable café offers food that is handmade daily, made with ingredients sourced predominantly from Ballarat and surrounds.
There was a rare honesty about Kitletty’s Cafe in Mair Street Ballarat when we visited in 2015. All the food served were made in-house with produce sourced locally. The coffee latte and the Gruyere and ham toastie boosted by a tangy seeded mustard were both very good. The granola was packed with grains, nuts and cereal, and served with yoghurt and milk. It was robust, interesting and satisfying. The almond and raspberry tart which was delicious, moist, bouncing with flavour and beautifully rich. This was one of many temptations on display. The customer service at Kittelty’s matched the food and coffee – friendly and honest, and given the high quality, the value for money was good.
