This is a great venue for breakfast and lunch with friendly and cheerful wait staff delivering an imaginative selection of dishes from the open-plan kitchen. The Hydrant features urban style decor and a big fireplace (perfect on a blustery cold Ballarat day). There’s a children’s adventure playground at one end of this big volume former commercial building, a great opportunity to relax with friends while the children are distracted. There is a good selection of wines, beers and ciders as well as the usual non-alcoholic café drinks including fresh fruit smoothies. Very popular venue for weekend brunch and meals with work colleagues, family groups and friends. In the heart of the city with convenient parking in the area.
Stylish urban feel and dishes. Friendly staff. Family friendly. Popular. Centrally located.
