The Great Ocean Road Brewhouse is exactly what you want in a small coastal town and its the most southern Pub on the Australian mainland. A wonderful part of the experience is driving to the Brewhouse destination. I can’t think of a better journey than travelling The Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay. As soon as you enter the Brewhouse you feel at home. The original stained glass windows and old tiles on the floor have been saved and you can lounge by the fire or sit at one of the wine barrels. There is a Tab sports bar with pool table and don’t forget to visit their “Tastes Of The Region Room”. It has an impressive collection of everything local from local cheeses, coffee, chocolates, pasta, local wines and spirits The Brewhouse caters for everyone including our furry friends (more than welcome in the beer garden). The owners have provided a venue that caters for large numbers of guests without losing that coastal pub feeling. Original features include stained glass windows and pretty cool tiles on the floor. The meals menu had everything you would expect in a pub bistro with interesting additions. Don’t leave without visiting the Tastes of the Region Room at the rear of the pub. The use and recognition of Local produce was good. The flatware used was what you would normally associate with a fine dining restaurant. The Brewhouse offers a great range of Beers, Ciders, Spirits and Local Wines and provides good Value for money.

Poached blackcurrants using Apollo Bay Gin. Changing specials board. Great drinks menu. Good customer service and value for money. Regular live music in the beer garden. Dog friendly.
