Blue Pyrenees Estate (near Avoca) is a premium winery in the dramatic Pyrenees region of Victoria that serves quality foods and its own Award Winning estate-grown methode-traditionelle sparkling, red, white and rose wines. Established by the French company Remy Martin in 1963, Blue Pyrenees Estate is now independently Australian owned. The chef of the eatery is the highly accomplished Christopher Howe (Talbot Provedore and Avoca Hotel). The food menu features grazing style small platters, house platters, cheese platters, and desserts, and local produce and a good children’s menu. Stand outs include local Tuki Salmon, pates, roast pumpkin and caramalized onion frittatas, wild rabbit terrine, pork and fennel sausage, and free range duck egg with house made dukkah. The Estate is the venue for regularly staged events, wine tastings and weddings, and a great destination for metro, interstate or overseas visitors.
