Not only does Bear & Bean have delicious food, but their cafe space is impressive. The roof is covered in a hand drawn mural drawn by staff and the front door features a graffiti art mural. This funky space creates a very relaxing vibe. Bear and Bean do a fantastically quick takeaway lunch, with 15 minute free parking located virtually just outside the front door.

Housed in a former garage converted into a trendy cafe in the car park area in Little Ryrie Street, Bear and Bean is a warm and welcoming cafe in the heart of CBD Geelong. There is a range of seating styles including couches and communal tables, or relax and enjoy the sunshine outside when the weather is favourable. Good quality fresh ingredients are used. The middle eastern tabbouli salad made with quinoa, roasted cauliflower, with melt in your mouth slow cooked lamb and yoghurt had a lovely combination of flavours. The poached eggs with cherry tomato, spinach and beetroot salt was a decent sized breakfast. Good quality crispy bacon and seasoned sautéed spinach were very appetising. Local bakery, La Madre’s sourdough bread is used. The desserts are delivered fresh everyday from La Madre. The orange and almond tart was perfect, great crisp pastry with a moist perfectly cooked centre with a candied orange and rhubarb dust, served as is. The products used are mostly sourced locally. The menu is suited to many dietary requirements, very accommodating for people with allergies or special diets. Bear and Bean offers good value for money with a combination of quality, generous servings and good service. It is popular with locals and the perfect place to enjoy good coffee at reasonable prices..
