The Golden Plate Awards is a genuinely independent guide to restaurants, hotels, cafes, and coffee shops in Regional Victoria.
Up to 35 factors are evaluated twice without notice by experts in hospitality. It’s a rigorous process that helps eateries continuously improve and provide better eating-out experiences for customers.
Awards are presented to six types of eatery and for special strengths such as Best Chef, Customer Service, Coffee, Value for Money, Local Foods and Beverages.
Eateries from all parts of Regional Victoria can take part if nominated by members of the public. The Golden Plate Awards have operated on a not for profit basis since 2002.
