Eateries throughout REGIONAL VICTORIA can take part in the Golden Plate Awards if nominated by the publicEach eatery is judged and scored twice without notice for up to 35 factors.  Multiple dishes are sampled at each judging.  The Winners are the eateries achieving the highest combined scores from the two rounds of judging.  

Awards may be granted in each Award Territory and the State of Victoria in six venue categories and for Special Recognition Awards for key hospitality factors such as Best Chef, Best Customer Service, Best Menu of Local Foods and Best value for Money:
